About Trevo

What is Trevo?

Trevo is an AI-powered digital guest experience platform for hotels, headquartered in Singapore and serving properties across Asia-Pacific. It automates the guest journey — online and kiosk check-in, AI identity verification, mobile key access and in-stay upsells — and syncs in real time with the hotel's property management system (PMS).

Which hotels use Trevo?

Trevo is used by more than 18 hotels and resorts across Asia-Pacific, including PARKROYAL Collection Pickering, PARKROYAL Collection Marina Bay, The Fullerton Hotel, The Fullerton Bay Hotel, Grand Hyatt, Pan Pacific, Amara Singapore and Goodwood Park Hotel in Singapore, as well as The Star Grand Hotel in Sydney, Solaire Resort & Casino in Manila and Cinnamon Life at City of Dreams in Sri Lanka.

Which regions does Trevo operate in?

Trevo currently serves hotels in Singapore, Australia, the Philippines and Sri Lanka, and supports regulatory compliance requirements across the Asia-Pacific region.

Product and features

How does hotel self check-in work with Trevo?

Guests receive a pre-arrival link to register and verify their identity before they reach the hotel. On arrival, they complete check-in in minutes at a Trevo kiosk or on their own phone: the platform verifies their ID, syncs the reservation with the hotel's PMS, takes payment where needed, and issues a keycard or mobile key — no queue at the front desk.

How does Trevo verify guest identity?

Trevo uses computer-vision AI to analyse identity documents, match them against a live selfie with liveness detection, and flag fraudulent documents. In Singapore, Trevo integrates with the government's e-Visitor Authentication (EVA) system so hotels remain compliant with local check-in regulations.

Does Trevo support mobile keys?

Yes. Trevo issues digital room keys to the guest's smartphone, alongside traditional keycards dispensed at Trevo kiosks, so hotels can offer both options.

Can Trevo help increase hotel revenue?

Yes. Trevo turns check-in into a sales channel: hotels use it to offer room upgrades, late check-out, dining, spa and other targeted upsells during online check-in and at the kiosk, with payments handled in the same flow.

What is Aegis?

Aegis is Trevo's back-of-house access control platform. It replaces physical keys with mobile credentials for hotel staff, vendors and contractors, with role-based permissions by area and schedule, automatic credential expiry, and real-time audit trails — including across multi-property operations.

Do guests need to download an app to check in?

No. Guests can complete Trevo's online check-in from a web link on their phone, or use a Trevo kiosk in the lobby.

Implementation and integrations

Which property management systems (PMS) does Trevo integrate with?

Trevo integrates with major hotel PMS platforms including Oracle OPERA, Cloudbeds and Infor HMS, keeping reservations, room assignments and guest profiles in sync in real time. Contact us if you use a different PMS — new integrations are added regularly.

How long does it take to implement Trevo?

A typical implementation takes 2–4 weeks, including PMS integration, custom branding of the guest journey, and staff training.

Do we need to buy kiosk hardware to use Trevo?

No — kiosks are optional. Trevo's digital check-in works on guests' own devices. Hotels that want a lobby kiosk can choose from four models: Mk0 (embedded into your own furniture, from S$6,900), Mk1 (smart keycard dispenser), and Mk2/Mk3 (with passport scanning and integrated payment terminal).

Does Trevo work for hotel groups with multiple properties?

Yes. Trevo supports multi-property operations with centralised visibility, and offers enterprise pricing for groups and properties with more than 400 rooms.

Pricing

How much does Trevo cost?

Trevo's platform is priced at $5 per room per month, plus a one-time setup fee that covers onboarding, PMS integration, custom branding and staff training. Kiosk hardware is an optional add-on. Custom pricing is available for large properties and multi-property groups.

Does Trevo require a long-term contract?

No. Trevo does not require long-term contracts, and the subscription includes ongoing maintenance, dashboard access and support.

Security and compliance

Is guest data secure with Trevo?

Guest identity data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and Trevo is designed to comply with data protection regulations in the markets it serves, including Singapore's PDPA. [CONFIRM WITH ENGINEERING AND ADD: certifications such as ISO 27001 / SOC 2, and data residency, if applicable.]

How does Trevo help hotels meet regulatory requirements?

Trevo automates regulatory steps in the check-in process — for example, integration with Singapore's e-Visitor Authentication (EVA) system for identity reporting — reducing manual compliance work for front-office teams.
